Kratom rules in Tennessee
Tennessee Public Chapter 950 (2026), Matthew Davenport’s Law, prohibits knowing possession, manufacture, delivery and sale of kratom. It took effect July 1, 2026. Its definition includes plant material and leaf-derived compounds. Older claims that Tennessee permits kratom for adults 21+ are outdated.
